Tasks

  • Follow-up on the implementation of the policies proposed by the Permanent Committee for the selection of teaching assistants, lecturers, language teachers and research assistants
  • Follow up on the recommendations issued by the councils of scientific departments regarding the appointment of teaching assistants, lecturers, language teachers and research assistants according to the following criteria ​
    • ​​​The number of Saudi faculty members and their ratio to the total number of faculty members in the department, their exact specializations, and their teaching loads.
    • The number of teaching assistants, lecturers, language teachers and research assistants in the department.
    • The number of scholarship students from the department, their exact majors, and the expected dates for their return. 
  • ​​Studying the transactions related to transferring lecturers and teaching assistants to administrative positions within the university or referring them to the Civil Service Bureau and recommending what is necessary. 
  • Study any other tasks assigned to it by the competent authorities in this regard.
  • Submitting reports, minutes and recommendations of the committee to the authorized person for information and guidance as necessary.​
